That’s why it feels refreshing to have someone like Lani Misalucha who readily admits to having her teeth, nose, and chin done, saying that she just wants to look more confident in front of the camera.
Lani Misalucha is one of the country’s great singers and is well-known as ‘Asia’s Nightingale.’ Lately, in an exclusive no-holds-barred interview with Jun Lalin of Abante News Online, she has exposed the fact that she has indeed undergone facial surgery.

She was asked if she had reconstruction done to some of her body parts. Lani then answered, without denying, that yes, emphasizing that it is quite obvious. Lani also stressed that the changes are only in her face, that netizens are exaggerating otherwise.
She was also asked about her reaction towards the similarities made by netizens of her and an Avatar character in Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi movie that portrays big and blue-colored human-like aliens.

This crazy comparison started way back in 2012 when netizens were accusing her of having her nose done. Netizens still can’t get over her transformation in the year 2014, when the ‘make-up transformation’ craze was a trend in social media.
Many netizens, even celebrities, were all making their own transformations. The transformation was where netizens can choose their favorite artist or movie character as their final look to achieve. It was a different story for Lani because netizens made fun of her facial features when they put an Avatar character as her final look. Lani was bombarded online, with netizens tweeting about her facial similarities with the said character.

Lani being asked about her reaction during the interview felt emotional. Though this happened so long ago, it still gave a negative impact to her.
