Juan Karlos Labajo, the former quirky kid of ‘The Voice Kids’ is now all grown up, already making a name in the music industry. JK had his big break with his song ‘Buwan’ that was released in September 2018, and currently has a total of 80.6 million views on Youtube.
What caught the eye of the netizens was when he casted ‘Asia’s Next Top Model’ winner and ‘Eat Bulaga’ co-host Maureen Wroblewitz in the music video. Their followers have started speculating about their relationship but both of them denied any romantic interlude.

But on Valentine’s day, the two contradicted their statements when JK referred to Maureen as his ‘Buwan’ and she responded with a heart icon in the comments section, and with JK responding back with a heart icon too.
Though both of them did not make any clear statement, their followers can’t help but feel ecstatic about the hint that they disclosed to them. They were feeling the love that they flooded JK’s post with their ‘kilig’ reactions.
JK had previously hinted that there is something special going on between him and Maureen but he downplayed his confession when he expressed that Maureen is not entirely unique.
“It all depends, man, it depends on how people see it. Some things are best kept private, you know. Me and everyone else have something special in between. I have something special with a lot of people,” he said.
In 2017, the two were already spotted together, being seen in photos of them going out together that went viral. JK on his side explained that he and Maureen have already been close friends way before she even started joining the ‘AsTNM’.
“We’re good naman. Of course, we’re best friends. Why wouldn’t we go out? Na-meet ko kasi yung mga fans niya, fans ni Claire (Hartell), so andun sila sa set so eventually dun kami nagkakilala. This was before that (show she joined) and eventually we became close friends kasi nga we share the same life story with how she lost her mom and how we’re both half-German,” Juan Karlos said.
