- Jameson Blake got special treatment during BLACKPINK concert
- Jameson reiterated that he was following the queue
- Netizens in social media lambasted him for his act
BlackPink’s South Korean girl group got it’s first ever live concert in Manila last February 02 at the Mall of Asia Arena. The concert was sold-out so the arena was filled with fans; even celebrities were spotted as they didn’t miss the opportunity to witness Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo’s performances at their show which was promoted as “In Your Area.”
One of the celebrities that caught the netizens attention was Hashtag member Jameson Blake, who was apparently accused of not falling in line when there was a queue.

This started when a netizen posted a video on twitter saying, “So eto na nga. Jameson Blake of Hashtags is here and of course dahil artista daw sya, hindi sya sumusunod sa queue. While all of us REAL FANS nag-tiis sa init at siksikan for HOURS just to get in line. Galing naman po.”
The netizen also said in a voice over the video, “Hindi siya nakapila while the rest of us are in line. So may queue siya. So ayan, ang dami daming fans na nakapila pero siya hindi siya nakapila.”

The netizen also added a statement in the comment section, to clarify to the public that it was what really happened during the event.
“Here’s what actually happened: he arrived with his friends, didn’t get in line kahit may queue number. His queue number is around 500+ (accdg to one fan na nakakita sa paper nya). The whole time people were telling him to get in line, but he didn’t listen.”
“Fans were also chanting “pumila” still nothing. He was talking to the security and mmi staff and showed his queue number pero wala pa rin. Didn’t get in line. We asked mmi staff kung hindi ba sya pipila and the staff said hindi sya ilalagay sa queue nya dahil baka dumugin sya.”

Many netizens where disturbed by the act that they lambasted Jameson in social media.
Eh ano kung artista sya. Gaano na ba sya kasikat? Dios mio naman… di ba dapat sya pa nga mag-set ng example. But what do we expect, kasi nga "ARTISTA" sya at dahil doon anak sya ng diyos at no need pumila.. Nyeta…yuck and ewww.

The said twitter post reached Jameson that finally yesterday January 04 in the afternoon, he re-tweeted it and posted a statement to shed light on the issue that is being stated against him.
He then reacted by stating, “We got there and showed our queue number. The organizers, guards, the people in charge told us to stay by the side but we were still part the line. We just waited til’ it was our turn to get in. We were just following rules. “

We may not know the true story behind the event. But one thing is that everyone in the concert had fun and it was all worth it.
Jameson Blake was already caught in an issue last July 04, 2018 when he posted on his twitter account asking graphic designers to make him a banner in exchange for a ‘shout out’. Netizens, especially artists didn’t like the bargaining then started bombarding the actor with criticisms.
Director Gino Santos even tagged him on his post lecturing Jameson for underestimating designers, disclosing that he should be ashamed of himself. He then later posted an apology recognizing the craft of the artists/designers.
