Kapuso star Carla Abellana shed tears of happiness while saying, “I’m very happy. Tenth year ko na! Tenth year ko na in show business, 10th year ko na rin sa GMA. To say na sobrang happy and sobrang grateful ako na nag-trust ulit ang GMA sa akin, is an understatement. Talagang ninanamnam ko.”
She is much more excited to start working again as a Kapuso star.
“Sobrang happy ako na pinagbigyan ako ulit, na binigyan ako ng opportunity ulit. Sobrang happy kasi excited na akong magtrabaho. Hindi lang siya blessing for the new year, blessing din siya for my 10th year in show business. I’m happy,” she added.
She reminisced on the past projects she did with the network.
“From Rosalinda till now, today. Wow, ang bilis ng panahon. Sinasabi nila mas mabilis ‘yung panahon kapag busy ka. Pero for me, parang mas mabilis ‘yung panahon kapag enjoy mo talaga ‘yung ginagawa mo,” Carla shared.

GMA Network executives and her manager were present during her contract renewal; namely, manager Arnold Vegafria, GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Vice President for Drama Productions Redgie Acuña-Magno, and GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara.
