GMA Network’s fantasy drama television series ‘Kara Mia’ is slowly climbing the ladder in the TV ratings game. Despite the series of bashing from some netizens, still, many praise the show for its unique plot.
And as the series continues its story, the scenes are getting more intense, slowly attracting more viewers.

On February 18, in the shows pilot episode, ‘Kara Mia’ gained a total percentage of 11.5 people audience share versus its rival show ‘FPJ’s Ang Probisyano’ which garnered a 3.8 percent higher point with a total of 15.3 percent viewers.
Last February 19, ‘Kara Mia’ gained a percentage of 0.8 higher points from its previous rating, totaling a percentage of 12.3 while ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ had a total of 15.4 percent.
On February 20, ‘Kara Mia’ lowered at least 1.2 percent points in its audience share with 11.1 total percentage while Coco Martin-starrer gained a higher total percentage of 16.3.
By February 21, the Kapuso series again increased its people audience with 1.2 percent difference totaling to 12.3 percent while ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ also had an increase with 16.3 percent viewers.
It can be seen that after ‘Kara Mia’s’ first week, it slowly caught up the attention of netizens. Though the show has not overpassed its rival, the scores show a possible win for the Kapuso series soon.

One of the series’ cast members, Mike Tan, who is portraying Iswal, an ‘Engkanto,’ has trended on social media. Netizens are somewhat catching up to the plot of the story and are looking forward to the scenes that discloses more truth and drama.
Mike’s role is a magical creature who is madly in love with Aya (Carmina Villaroel), KaraMia’s mother. The actor may be struggling from the body paint during their taping, but he somehow got used to it.
Mike is a family man and he is very hands-on in taking good care of his family as he wishes to witness the growth of his child. Though he has a tough schedule, he always makes sure that he makes time for his family.
