GMA Network offers quality and high-caliber shows for the rest of 2019, as they shared the line up of their upcoming TV series. Their new offerings were programmed to ensure that they will give variety of shows to their viewers.
Below are the list of their shows for Q1 2019.
Hiram na Anak
‘Hiram na Anak’ is about the lives of Miren and Adrian, who are having difficulties in conceiving a child. The couple decided to adopt Duday, who will change their lives. Duday’s biological father, Benjo, tries to take his child back from Miren and Adrian. The couple will fight for their right to their adoptive child.
The show is directed by Gil Tejada and stars Yasmien Kurdi, Dionne Ignacio, and Leanne Bautista. The show premiered on February 25, 2019, replacing the morning Korean drama, Don’t Dare to Dream, before Eat Bulaga!
Dragon Lady
‘Dragon Lady’ premieres on March 4, 2019 and stars Janine Gutierrez and Tom Rodriguez, directed by Paul Sta. Ana. It is an upcoming fantasy drama series, replacing the s00n-to-conclude Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko on GMA Network’s afternoon prime bloc.
According to previous interviews with Tom Rodriguez and Janine Gutierrez, the show features some of the Chinese traditions and culture. The show is about a woman who has a resemblance with the features of a dragon.
Sahaya
While ‘Sahaya’ features the indigenous tribe of Badjao known as Sea Gypsies. It highlights the magnificent set taken in Mindanao. It is an upcoming GMA Telebabad fantasy series replacing the time slot of hit series, ‘Onanay.’ The show will premiere on March 18, 2019 and stars Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix, and Migo Adecer, directed by Zig Dulay.
The show also marks Mylene Dizon’s comeback tothe GMA Network after four years.
Stolen
Stolen is a suspense- action drama series on the GMA afternoon bloc that stars Max Collins, Jason Abalos, Sophie Albert, Mark Herras, and Neil Ryan Sese, directed by Neal del Rosario and Toto Natividad. The show is set to premiere in March 2019, replacing My Special Tatay.
Love You Two
Love You Two is an upcoming GMA Telebabad romantic comedy series that stars Jennylyn Mercado and Gabby Concepcion, directed by Irene Villamor. The show doesn’t have a definite opening date for 2019.
