The two young Kapamilya stars Barbie Imperial and Paulo Angeles are officially a new loveteam. The tandem is said to be given a longer project after their MMK episode under the RSB Drama Unit which resulted in success.
Their first pairing was with MMK when they brought to life the story of the love and dream of Allanis and Hennesy. This was the first MMK episode under the RSB Drama Unit and it gained 8 points higher than its rival show.
Netizens having watched the show loved how the two actors portrayed their roles. They were seen to have the chemistry that a loveteam should have. That’s why they would love to see Barbie and Paulo again on their TV screens.
And netizens started talking about a sequel when RSB Drama Unit AdProm Head Carlo Hermano shared a photo of Direk Ruel S. Bayani with the two, hinting on a second project coming.

Speculations started getting obvious when Barbie posted in her Twitter account a statement regarding having a new project together with Paulo.

And finally, just recently, this was officially clarified by Barbie Imperial herself during an exclusive interview at the Pure Magic 2019 event. She was asked about whether or not Paulo will be her new love team partner, she then answered, ” “Yeah official. Pero hindi ko sure na hindi kami ipi-pair sa iba. Pero magiging love team kami sa ibang project.”
She also shared how happy she was to have worked with hashtag member Paulo Angeles. Adding that she had previously worked with him in ‘Araw Gabi’ where she was Paulo’s ‘Tita’ at that time.
