- Xian Lim has a follow-up film after Miss Granny and that is his break-up love story Hanggang Kailan.
- He was rumored to transfer to the Kapuso Network, Kapamilya Network’s rival.
- He denied that due to his change of management; it has made him less visible on television.
PEP.ph interviewed Xian after the press conference for his upcoming break-up film titled Hanggang Kailan. The film is his latest movie with Viva Films after the blockbuster Miss Granny.
In his new movie with fellow Viva artist Louise Delos Reyes–he is Donnie, Kath’s (Delos Reyes) lover of two years.
When Lim left his former talent management–Star Magic, he signed a 10-picture deal with Viva Entertainment headed by Vic del Rosario.
The 29-year-old-actor, was surprised when he was asked about the rumor that he is set to transfer to the Kapuso Network.
“Wala naman po kasing ganyan. Actually, nabasa ko lang siya sa Twitter. Hindi ko naman po alam kung saan nanggagaling.
“I’m still with ABS-CBN pa naman po.”
The buzz circulated on social media after he, transferred his management from Star Magic to Viva entertainment.
Lim is a homegrown talent of ABS-CBN, he was with Star Magic from 2008 to 2017. He just transferred to Viva Artists Agency in January 2018.
Netizens have observed, however, that he is no longer visible on TV recently. The last time he appeared on TV was in 2017, when he did a special participation for the now-defunct prime-time series A Love To Last.
When asked about the status of his TV career, Xian explained that his lack of visibility has nothing to do with his change of talent management.
“Even naman po when I was with my previous management madalang na rin naman po akong nakikita sa TV, e. Ako naman, I don’t think the management had anything to do with it. It’s more of naghihintay lang po ako ng projects.
“In terms of TV, naghihintay lang naman po ako. Thankfully, yung mga pelikula ko, pasok na pasok.”
Apart from acting, he is set to do his directorial debut via Cinemalaya 2019.
