Will they star in a Koreanovela remake?
This photograph started to raise speculation that Alden and Jennylyn may star in the much-anticipated Philippine remake of the Koreanovela Descendants of the Sun.
Their names have always been raised as the possible leads for the series but with different partners. The names included Alden with Maine Mendoza, Jennylyn with her real-life beau Dennis Trillo and Kapuso Prime Time King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.
Alden and Jennylyn were supposed to star together in the Pinoy adaptation of “My Love From The Star” but because of the AlDub following, the tandem didn’t push through. Late 2016, GMA Network announced Gil Cuerva as Jennylyn’s leading man in “My Love From The Star” remake

Jennylyn is currently working on a series titled Luv U 2 which stars Gabby Concepcion, Kiray Celis, Shaira Diaz and Sheena Halili. Any project involving Jennylyn and Alden have yet to be confirmed or denied.
