“RnB singer din naman ako pero mejo nakakalunod din pala makinig sa singer na halos mula unang word ng kanta hanggang sa dulo puros riffs and runs (kulot), tapos parang “bahala na” style, siguro strategy niya daanin sa dami ng kulot may tatama rin diyan.. kumbaga sa boksingero sapak ka lang ng sapak kahit mali mali form may tatama rin jan..”
“Tapos buong kanta laid back.. iba talaga yung kumakanta lang para mag pa-impress kesa sa kumakanta na sensitive sa kasamang musiko at kumakanta para magkwento. Kase kung kwento ang isang kanta, etong singer na to kung saan-saang kwento na napunta pinag halo halo ang horror comedy action drama.. mas busog pa sa isang variety show siniksik niya sa isang kanta.”
Daryl clarifies his insight.
Ong explained that he just shared his observation as a listener.
“I hope di isipin na nagyayabang ako or what, I posted this and stated my opinion as a listener, yun yung obserbasyon ko as a listener. And yes lahat naman dumadaan sa ganyang stage kahit anong larangan man, pero there were also people back in our time na nag criticize sa amin kaya nakatulong sa pag unawa. And I thank those people hanggang ngayon.”
