The popular Korean drama titled Descendant of the Sun purportedly will have a Filipino version under GMA network, and to be played by Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.
Descendants of the Sun is a story between a Captain of the Korean Special Forces and a surgeon at Haesung Hospital who fell in love in a war-torn country.
Mendoza’s manager mentioned on an earlier interview that there will be an upcoming ALdub project this 2019. This has not yet been confirmed by GMA and even Maine and Alden have not yet addressed the rumor.
According to Philstar’s source, the Filipino remake of the K-Drama is already confirmed. However, the cast isn’t.
