Ricci Rivero earlier had an interview where he was asked about working with Liza Soberano. He expressed his interest in working with Soberano if his schedule would allow him.

In his usual “MAMA OGS SAYS…”, Diaz was asked about his take regarding the issue. He expressed how he didn’t see anything wrong on Rivero’s answer.
“Wa echos, hindi ako nainis kay Ricci no’n o nayabangan sa kanya. Kaya ang sabi ko lang, iinom muna ako ng tatlong litro ng tubig. Actually, kahit si Liza, nu’ng kinwento ko to sa kanya, nangiti na lang siya.”

Diaz pointed out that Rivero texted him, admitting his admiration toward love teams especially that of Liza with Enrique Gil‘s LizQuen.
“To be fair to Ricci, nag-text siya sa akin and he said, “Tito Ogie, super sorry po for what happened. I didn’t mean to say that in a bad way, but I was just trying to say that I don’t wanna go between Enrique and Liza because I respect the loveteams in the industry and I even said that Liza will always be Liza– so that simply means that she is already established as Liza.
