Well, not anymore.
Mendoza and Richards have grown mature in their career. Having solo projects made them realize that they no longer need to be dependent on the Aldub loveteam and its fans.
Most of their followers had also accepted the fact that it’s no longer possible to reunite the two. Apparently, there are a few fans who continue to bash whoever Maine and Alden get paired to.
Maine is now busy with her solo projects and endorsements. She is allegedly dating Arjo Atayde. On the other hand, Alden also has his own endorsements and was linked to Andrea Torres after the series Victor Magtanggol ended.
Since both have established a solid career and individual fan base, whatever the Aldub fans say may no longer affect their decisions.
Although, Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards undeniably still have good chemistry whenever they appear together.
Rumors suggest that there might be an Aldub movie coming this year. GMA has not confirmed it yet.
