In an interview with the Kara Mia lead stars Mika Dela Cruz and Barbie Forteza both expressed their positive outlook toward the Netizens who made fun of their characters in the upcoming TV series.

According to them, they can’t help but to also laugh on how people reacted as they come up with different memes on social media.

According to Barbie Forteza, “Hindi ko alam na naging ganun na kami ka-influential ng hindi pa kami umeere. Nakakatuwa lang kasi ang ingay na agad ng Kara Mia kahit bago pa kami umere.”
Mika Dela Cruz, on the other hand, she really wanted to be a comedian, she said: “Gusto ko kasi maging komedyante, so natutuwa ako na natatawa sila sa akin.
“Natatawa po ako, e. Nung una kasi parang nabibigla sila sa [itsura] naming sa Kara Mia, pero at the same time dahil dun naiintriga sila na panoorin.”
