She was the Tween Queen and is considered as the Kapuso Prime Time Princess. Forteza was honed as a teen idol and a long-time serious actress. She wowed television viewers with her portrayal as a young Jodi in GMA Network’s version of Stairway to Heaven.

She is called as the Kapuso Phenomenal Star when she became Yaya Dub for the KalyeSerye segment in Eat Bulaga. She was discovered through a now-defunct mobile application, Dubsmash.

She is a recipient of the “Diamond Record Award” from the Philippine Association of the Record Industry for her album, Julie Anne San Jose. Her second album, Deeper, gave her “Triple Platinum Award.”
