- ABS-CBN News launches multiplatform coverage of the Black Nazarene procession
Once again, millions of devotees of the Black Nazarene will brave the heat and the congestion to participate in the annual “Traslacion” to the Quiapo church in Manila that has become a way for many Filipinos to pray, give thanks, and ask for forgiveness from God.
Witness what every devotee goes through just to be able to touch the Black Nazarene in a special episode of “Red Alert” with Jeff Canoy this Wednesday (January 9) on ABS-CBN.
The award-winning journalist will show how it is to enter the crowd, hold on to the rope, and climb up to the pedestal carrying the image of the Black Nazarene, that has been the goal of every devotee just like 20 year old Renz Guiron.
With the number of attendees every year, some people are also expected to get hurt during the procession that is why “Red Alert” will also ask experts to share tips and reminders to stay safe and out of harm during the activity.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN News will launch a multiplatform coverage of the Traslacion on ABS-CBN, ANC, DZMM Radyo Patrol 630, DZMM TeleRadyo, and news.abs-cbn.com. Join ABS-CBN News reporters and anchors as they follow the procession from Quirino Grandstand until it reaches the home of the Black Nazarene, the Quiapo church.
Don’t miss the “Panata” episode of “Red Alert” this Wednesday, 9:30 pm on DZMM TeleRadyo and after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN.
