GMA Films will go active and test Derrick Monasterio and Kim Domingo‘s chemistry in an upcoming movie, Kambal Karnabal. Headed by Annette Gozon-Valdes, shooting for the movie already started on Sunday, January 13.
Their last project was Alden Richards–Maine Mendoza‘s movie, Imagine You and Me, back in 2016.

Derrick and Kim to pair up.
Kambal Karnabal sets to star Derrick, pairing him up with Kim. This also stars Onanay star Jo Berry, Divine Tetay, Super Tekla and newly-signed Kapuso Kiray Celis. The movie will be under Adolf Alix‘s direction.
According to some rumors, Aiai delas Alas will also be a part of the movie but that has yet to be confirmed or denied.
Kim chose to stay as a Kapuso.
There was a rumor circulating that Domingo would leave GMA Network and transfer to ABS-CBN. In a recent interview with GMA Network, she expressed her delight to the projects given to her.
