- Black Arrow Express partners with Dragonpay
- The two-way partnership aims to make payments easier and accessible to its consumers
Black Arrow Express, last mile and consumer delivery firm under total logistics provider AAI, today announced its two way partnership with Dragonpay, an online payment platform that allows consumers to conveniently pay for the service in-app.
“This partnership brings two strong players and two key drivers in the eCommerce industry together — Dragonpay, with their expertise in the local financial technology space, and Black Arrow Express, with our logistics legacy through our parent company, the AAI group,” says Allan Brizuela, President of Black Arrow Express. “We are committed to further empowering individuals and SMEs, after recently completing over 15 million COD shipments over the last 2 years,” adds Brizuela.
“We are looking forward to adding Black Arrow Express (BAE) as one of the COD payment options of our merchants,” says Dragonpay’s COO, Robertson Chiang. “This is a great opportunity for Dragonpay merchants to expand their business and market reach since COD is still the most preferred payment method in the Philippines, accounting for over 80% of total eCommerce payments,” he adds.
The two way partnership focuses on Dragonpay as another payment option of Black Arrow Express, and Black Arrow Express as the express logistics and COD partner of Dragonpay, recognizing that COD & express door-to-door service as the next logical evolution to their service offering.
“We are continuing the improvement of our services by providing a more convenient way to our consumers making payments inclusive for all segments — accessible, simple and fast,” says Brizuela. “We want to empower the unbanked by expanding our payment methods that will tailor fit everyone,” he adds.
