Vice Ganda is a force to be reckoned with. Guillermo Mendoza Award named him the Phenomenal Box Office Star as every movie he stars in becomes highest grossing Filipino film since 2011.
Here are Vice’s highest grossing Filipino films and how much they earned:
The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin.
Vice starred as Benjie in the movie garnering Php331.6-million in box office. It was released in October 2011 which was written and directed by Wenn Deramas. This became the first Filipino film to break the Php300-million mark.
The Guy’s in Love with U Mare!
Vice starred in the movie alongside Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano. It was, again like almost all of Vice’s films, directed and written by Direk Wenn himself. Although it received mixed reviews from viewers, it earned Php200-million in the box office.
Sisterakas.
Vice starred in this 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival with the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino and Comedy Queen Aiai delas Alas. The film broke box-office records in the country upon its nationwide release. This recorded exactly Php 393, 439, 711. Sisterakas was the highest grossing Filipino film in 2012.
Girl, Boy, Bakla and Tomboy.
Vice’s role in this movie was tough as he played all four characters and their mother: Girlie, Peter, Mark and Panying. This was a comedy parody in 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival which earned Php421-million, the first to ever broke a Php400-million mark in this list.
The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin.
The sequel to The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin was an official entry to the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival. This also starred the original cast like Richard Yap, Alex Gonzaga and Bimby Aquino. This had a Php455-million earnings in the box office.
The Beauty and the Bestie.
This 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival became the first movie to star real-life best friends Vice and Coco Martin. Sadly, this was Direk Wenn’s last film before his death on February 29, 2016. This is the movie that surpassed the Php500-million mark, earning Php529-million.
The Super Parental Guardians.
This marked as Vice’s first non-MMFF movie since This Guy’s in Love with U Mare! in 2012. Vice and Coco teamed up with Direk Joyce Bernal in 2016. It seemed as if Vice’s box office records get higher as it earned Php598-million.
Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad.
This is another Metro Manila Film Festival movie entered in 2017. Vice starred alongside Daniel Padilla and Pia Wurtzbach. The earnings, however, was lower than the earlier movie with Php571-million.
Fantastica.
As of this writing, Fantastica: The Princess and The Perya reached Php129-million only on its second day.
