Vice Ganda goes on top again! Fantastica becomes number one in an official tally of the gross of the eight 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entries. The entries include Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles, Aurora, Mary Marry Me, One Great Love, The Girl in the Orange Dress, OTLUM and Rainbow’s Sunset.
The film festival opened on Christmas Day, December 25.

In a tweet posted on Monday, December 26, the comedian expressed his gratitude to people who watched Fantastica. The tweet also showed that the movie already reached its Php100-million mark.

MMFF records box office results on its second day.

According to the unofficial tally reports, Fantastica widened its gap between Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles.
Fantastica: The Princess and The Perya reached Php129-million while Jack Em Popoy had Php105-million. Coming in third, Aurora garnered Php22-million as Mary, Marry Me resided in fourth with Php15-million. One Great Love had Php9-million earnings while The Girl in the Orange Dress received Php6.8-million. OTLUM had Php5-million while Rainbow’s Sunset remains to lack with a Php1.2-million.
Vice remains at the top.
In 2017 MMFF, Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad had a Php540-million, topping other five entries: Ang Panday (Php204-million), Siargao (Php80-million), Haunted Forest (Php56-million), Meant to Beh (Php51-million) and All of You (Php34-million).
