GMA Network produced artists via its reality talent competition, StarStruck. The seventh season was already announced before 2018 started. It appeared that it would air in 2019 since 2018 is about to end and no auditions have taken place yet.
StarStruck recently released a teaser for a new season.
On Facebook, StarStruck posted a newly-designed logo with the word, “SOON“. GMA Network hinted that the talent-reality show may just come back for a seventh season.
The said talent reality show premiered in October 2013. Its goal is to find new actors and actresses in the country through a series of nationwide auditions.
StarStuck has produce the biggest Kapuso artists.
The first season of StarStruck gave birth to Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Herras, Rainier Castillo and Yasmien Kurdi. In its second season, Ryza Cenon, Mike Tan, CJ Muere and LJ Reyes became the biggest stars it produced.
The third season featured Marky Cielo, Jackie Rice, Gian Carlos and Iwa Moto‘s road to fame. Jewel Mische, Aljur Abrenica, Mart Escudero, Kris Bernal, Prince Stefan and Rich Asuncion dominated the fourth season.
Sarah Lahbati, Steven Silva, Enzo Pineda, Diva Montelaba and Rocco Nacino won the fifth season of StarStruck. The most recent season, the sixth one, gave Klea Pineda, Migo Adecer, Elyson de Dios and Ayra Mariano a shot for full stardom.
