- Patricia Tumulak leaves hosting to do acting
- She is now part of the upcoming musical-drama series Inagaw na Bituin
- The series will premiere in 2019 starring Kyline Alcantara and Therese Malvar
For the past few months, Patricia Tumulak has been a host for Willie Revillame’s show Wowowin. Now, the Kapuso star is ready to level up by taking on a new project.
In an interview with GMA, Tumulak explained why she was absent in the variety-game show for the last few episodes.
She said that she will be part of GMA’s upcoming musical-drama series titled Inagaw na Bituin.
“I’m super forever grateful sa GMA kasi both sides na from hosting and acting, pinapa-try sa akin.
“So, kung anong ibigay na opportunity, doon tayo and go with the flow. I’m up for a challenge so kung ano ibigay sa ‘yo, just accept and just be ready for the challenge, and of course, do your part also.”
Inagaw na Bituin lead cast members are Kyline Alcantara and Therese Malvar. The series also includes veteran talents such as Sunshine Dizon, Gabby Eigenmann, Marvin Agustin, and Angelika Dela Cruz.
The series is set to premiere in 2019. GMA is yet to announce the official date.
