- Onanay will soon bid adieu.
- In recent episodes, Natalie’s hate toward Maila blossomed even more.
- Onanay is the only fighting Kapuso series when it comes to ratings.
Onanay centers around Natalie (Kate Valdez) and Maila (Mikee Quintos). The show premiered on August 6, under Gina Alajar and Joel Lamangan‘s direction. Onanay is only been airing for four months now.
Natalie’s hate and anger grew deeper.
In a recent episode, Natalie was injured and cold when Maila left to look for rescuers. She thought Maila left her for real and fainted. Although they have become friends again, her hate and anger toward Maila grew deeper even the more.
She went blind after a head injury; while they were stuck in an island. Helena (Cherie Gil) brainwashed Natalie into thinking that Maila left her for real. During her flashback, Natalie tried to call Maila but she was too weak. Helena’s lies clouded Natalie’s trust in Maila.
Oliver said goodbye.
After Imelda (Vaness del Moral) left Lucas (Wendell Ramos), Oliver (Enrico Cuenca) bid his goodbye to Maila. If they couldn’t stop her from leaving, there would be a possibility for Oliver to leave for the US and stay there for good.
Onanay is nearing its end.
Helena made her revenge. She sent Dante (Gardo Versoza) to prison and Maila’s scholarship was revoked. Helena endangered Maila, Onay (Jo Berry), Nelia (Nora Aunor) and Sally‘s (Rochelle Pangilinan) lives as she sent an arson to burn down their house.

Onanay stayed strong in the ratings game.
Onanay is the only fighting Kapuso series when it comes to ratings as it managed to catch up to its rival, Ngayon at Kailanman. GMA Network, however, has a six-week policy. If a series doesn’t rate well in its first six weeks, the Network will give it another week. If the series still won’t pick up in its ratings, the Network would put an end to it.
