It’s been a month since Regine Velasquez left GMA Network and Julie Anne San Jose has not yet moved on. The young singer expresses on Instagram that she misses the Asia’s Songbird.
She said that she learned a lot from Regine when she entered the music industry.
“Madami akong natutunan sa kanya hindi lang sa pagkanta, but I also in terms of dealing with life.
“Madami siyang life lessons and wisdom na just keep on singing, just keep on doing what you love, and inspire people through your music.
“Always be humble and keep your feet on the ground.”
San Jose was dubbed as the next Regine since they have similar career paths including their albums that went platinum in 2013. She is arguably the most popular female singer the Kapuso network has today. But, is she ready to take up the challenge?
“I don’t think about these things—all I want to do is to sing and make the listeners happy. But if I’m given that responsibility, then there would be a bit of weight on my shoulders.”
Julie Ann San Jose and Regine Velasquez’s last project together was during GMA’s First Concert Series titled 3 Stars, 1 Heart that ran in Cebu, Dagupan, and Dubai.
