Jameson Blake was looking for a graphic designer to make him a banner for LucidExpress. This, however, received backlash because he would only pay the said graphic designer with a shout out tweet.
Netizens called him out on it, he insisted he just needed something basic and will not pay cash.
Jameson took a break.
According to an interview with PEP, Blake took a rest from social media after the controversy.
“Wala, nag-break lang ako sa social media for like a week lang to let everyone say whatever they want…”
Jameson admitted his mistake.
Blake acknowledged that maybe he made a mistake. He, however, pointed out that everyone does.
“I never expected it was going to be that big… Maybe I made my mistake. They had their mistakes din before.”
Jameson slammed Filipinos for being so opinionated.
Blake noted that they didn’t focus on the graphic design and had to incorporate issues he had in the past.
“Wala eh, ganun mga tao dito sa Philippines, mga jejemon talaga. They always have to be so opinionated kahit sa maliit na bagay. Instead of focusing on my graphic design issue, they focused on other stuff.”
