Derrick Monasterio was previously linked to Issa Pressman. Recently, Issa revealed that she is bisexual and even introduced her girlfriend Marga Bermudez.
So, how did Derrick take this news?
In an interview with Monasterio during the second anniversary of Myeong Dong Korean Chicken, owned by his friend Alex Chang, on November 26 at Greenhills Town Center, Quezon City, he revealed he has no inkling on Issa being a bisexual.
“Di ko alam, di ko alam, e. Siguro siya [si Issa] na lang ang tanungin mo. Kung saan siya happy, di okey.
“Kahit naman ako, ayaw ko naman siyang i-judge. Basta, kung saan masaya ang isang tao, sige lang. Kahit naman ako, kung saan ako happy, ayaw kong may nakikialam sa akin.”
The actor was then asked if he noticed a sign about Issa’s sexual orientation when they were hanging out together.
He answered, “Wala naman. Kapag nagustuhan mo ang isang tao, kahit ano pa man siya, okey lang.”
Meanwhile, Derrick was spotted allegedly dating a beauty queen whose name he did not disclose.
Derrick clarified that they are just friends and he is still too young for a serious relationship. For now, his priority is his career and be a provider to his future family.
“Ganun talaga. Kailangang kong maka-focus sa ibang mga ginagawa. Like, ngayon, bumili ako ng isang property.
“Siyempre lalaki ako, e, kaya nag-aano ako talaga ng property for my [future] family.
“Papatayuan ko ng bahay, pero siguro hindi pa ngayon. Ipun-ipon pa.”
Derrick is planning to buy a 430-square meter residential lot in Valley Golf, Antipolo Rizal.
