“FPJ’s ANG PROBINSYANO”
Cardo’s family is a reflection of the ordinary Filipino household. They also have Lola Flora (Susan Roces), who never forgets to share nuggets of wisdom whenever they need guidance. They celebrate each other’s successes and they hang on to their faith in God times of turmoil.
While Cardo serves his fellow Filipinos, his family has always been by his side and defended him against any accusations. At the end of every battle, he always has a home where he can find refuge, proving that even if everything falls apart, your family will stand by you.
“HALIK”
Despite the hurtful things Jade (Yam Concepcion) did to Lino (Jericho Rosales), his mother Dolor (Amy Austria) still finds it in her heart to care for her daughter-in-law, whom she had grown to love as her own child. She seeks Jade out to let her know this and convince her not to give up on her baby. Nanay Dolor is a true mother, who is willing to set aside her anger to forgive her children and teach them right from wrong.
“NGAYON AT KAILANMAN”
Eva (Julia Barretto) is like a lot of young people her age who work hard to make a good life for their family. At a young age, she is already providing for her family by getting rackets here and there. Driven to desperation, Eva swallowed her pride, and even agreed to pretend to be someone’s girlfriend to earn some extra bucks. She will do anything for her family and community in Gintong Pag-asa, which are her inspiration for pursuing her dream of becoming a successful jewelry designer.
“PLAYHOUSE”
Love is sweeter the second time around, and Marlon (Zanjoe Marudo) has made incessant efforts to prove this to his estranged wife Patty (Angelica Panganiban), who is seeking to annul their marriage. But their marital woes did not prevent them from being good parents to Robin, their godchild whose parents died in a car crash. Despite being separated, Patty and Marlon tried to live harmoniously under one roof to ensure Robin’s welfare. They also fought together and successfully secured Patty’s right to be Robin’s legal guardian. Marlon and Patty were able to set them aside for the sake of their godchild.
“KADENANG GINTO”
In the series, people look up to the elite and successful Mondragons, although they do not fit the mold of a perfect family. Their unconventional setup began when Daniela (Dimples Romana) vehemently opposed her father Robert’s (Albert Martinez) marriage to his assistant Romina (Beauty Gonzalez), whose daughter Cassie (Francine Diaz) was born out of wedlock.
After Daniela’s business went bankrupt, Robert welcomed her daughter and her family back into his home. While conflicts often arise between Daniela and Romina, as well as their daughters Cassie and Marga (Andrea Brillantes), Robert serves as their patient mediator and remains as the binding force that keeps their family intact.
“LOS BASTARDOS”
Don Roman Cardinal (Ronaldo Valdez) does not live with all of his sons, but this does not mean he does not think of them or care for them. He was able to provide a good life to Joaquin (Diego Loyzaga) and even to Lucas (Albie Casiño). Now that Lucas knows he is a Cardinal, Don Roman is ready to give his son what is due him. He also keeps his other sons in his prayers at all times and hopes that one day he will be able to be with all of them.
