Alessandra de Rossi admitted that she felt offended and discouraged with what happened to her role in Since I Found You in ABS-CBN. She, however, didn’t hold any grudge against the network.
Since I Found You aired from August 2017 until August 2018. This also starred Piolo Pascual, Arci Muñoz, Empoy Marquez and JC de Vera.
A leading lady in Since I Found You.
Alessandra explained that ABS-CBN offered her the leading lady role for Since I Found You.
“Nang i-offer siya sa akin, leading lady talaga siya [ang role]. I mean, kilala niyo naman ako ever since. Bago ‘yun, 2 years akong walang show, dahil lahat tinatanggihan ko. Lahat ayokong role… Finally, may role na gusto ko. Kasi leading lady, ‘Bago ‘to, try nga natin…’”
New movie.
Alessandra expressed her gratitude for her new movie, Through Night and Day with Paolo Contis. She pointed out that she created the story and concept of the movie but couldn’t finish the script as she was busy shooting for Since I Found You.
“So, masaya naman po ako na natapos na ‘yung show dahil gustung-gusto ko nang gawin ‘to [movie]. Hindi ko nga nasulat ‘to, diba? Dahil nga, busy ako doon.”
Alessandra acknowledged the rumors which circulated to the media.
“I don’t know kung ano ang nakarating [sa media], ‘yung tampo and all, but hindi ‘yun ang ini-offer sa akin. And kung alam ko lang na mag-aabot lang pala ako ng kape, ginawa ko na ‘to agad, kasi naghihintay ‘tong movie na ‘to.”
According to Alessandra, the production told her that she wasn’t the leading lady anymore three weeks before the ending.
“Iba talaga ‘yung nai-offer sa akin. Ibang-iba talaga. Knowing me na ‘yun nga, na very very picky sa projects, sobra, kahit magutom ako, eh, hindi ko gagawin basta ayaw ko. So, parang ‘asan ‘yung ini-offer? Wala yata dito, ah.’”
No grudge against ABS-CBN.
Alessandra still insisted that she has no grudge against the network.
No, hindi ako nagtatampo. Hindi naman siya first time na nangyari sa isang artista. Nangyayari siya talaga. Sometimes, you have to listen to the netizens or whatever kung sinuman ang gusto n’yong pakinggan.”
”I’m just here to explain my side na hindi masama na sumama ang loob ko during that time. Tao lang ako. Pinaasa ako. So, yes, of course masama ang loob ko nun’g time na ‘yun.”
