- Juan Miguel Severo wrote his very first screenplay, Hintayan ng Langit.
- He invited KathNiel to watch the movie.
- The showbiz couple, then, announced they will hold a block screening for the said movie.
Juan Miguel Severo wrote his very first screeplay, Hintayan ng Langit under Dan Villegas‘ direction. The movie is about Lisang (Gina Pareño) who has overstayed in her waiting room in purgatory. She is finally set to crossover to heaven and her room is leased to a new tenant, Manolo (Eddie Garcia), her newly deceased ex-boyfriend.
KathNiel holds block screening.
Juan Miguel recently worked with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla in one of the biggest movie of the year, The Hows of Us. When he invited the reel-and-real-life-sweethearts to watch the movie, Kathryn announced that they will hold a block screening.
In a lengthy Facebook post, Juan Miguel expressed his gratitude to both of them. The writer also noted how Kathryn is going to be busy soon due to her movie with Sharon Cuneta and Richard Gomez, Three Words to Forever.
“I invited them to watch and when Kath said, “Oo naman. Papa-block screening kami!” I was touched and thought, kahit hindi matuloy sobrang okay lang dahil alam ko kung gaano sila ka-busy. Pero shet, tinuloy nga. Partida galing si Kathryn sa Showtime, sa isang interview, sa ASAP rehearsal sa QC, at sa mall tour sa Alabang. Busy ni girl dahil showing na rin sa November 27 ang #ThreeWordstoForever niya with Sharon and Richard! *wink wink*
“As a KathNiel fan since Growing Up, it was enough that I got to work with them in The Hows of Us and that they were really kind to me during the shoot. Pero mehn, ibang level ‘to.
“Salamat sa suporta, Kath at DJ! Susulatan ko kayo ng pelikula. Pramis ‘yan. 😭
“#HintayanNgLangit”
Juan Miguel expressed gratitude.
In a separate tweet, Juan Miguel remained grateful how his idols held block screening for his movie.
“Good morning. So you know how fans organize block screenings for their idol’s movies? Baliktad ang nangyari sa akin. Ang tagal ko nang fan ng dalawang ito at sila ang nag-organize ng block screening ng pelikula ko. Pakshet. I am very grateful.”
