- He doesn’t want to reveal the date when Shyre said “yes” to him.
- Jake is certain that Shyre is “The One” for him; and she’s been with him through his ups-and-downs.
Although nonverbal, a thumbs-up from Jake Zyrus when asked if he is engaged with his girlfriend Shyre Aquino and it pretty much suffice to that his answer was “yes.”
Jake admitted that this is the first time he revealed it in public. He only told his closest of friends about their engagement.
He said, “When somebody asks, of course, we say it.”
The singer also said that he will not reveal when the engagement happened and appealed the curious public not to push further in asking about the date.
“Regalo niyo na sa amin. Yun yung naiba sa relationship na to and I enjoy it so much.
“Masaya ako na alam niyo, pero masaya ako na we have some things na kami lang ang may alam.”
Moreover, for Jake, Shyre is ‘The One’ for him.
“This is totally different from the past. Usually sa isang relationship, first year pabebe ka pa.
“First month pa lang ng relationship namin naging kumportable na ako sa kanya.
“Nung time na nag-top surgery ako siya yung nag-alaga sa akin.
“Sinabi ko na I was going to transition… Nakilala niya ako nung Charice ako at ang sabi niya sa akin mahal kita kasi ikaw yan.”
Jake concluded that he found a family with his fiancé Shyre, even his dogs feel the same way.
