The UP Fighting Maroons guard, Ricci Rivero, will be launching his debut movie soon titled “Otlum.” The movie is a 2018 MMFF entry.
The athlete, now an actor, expressed how grateful he is for this rare opportunity.
He said, “Gusto ko talaga mag-explore ng iba’t ibang bagay.
“Sobrang thankful kasi hindi naman talaga namin inexpect.
“Actually, siyempre, nag-pray rin, pero sabi ko, kung ano ‘yung makakabuti sa amin at sa nakakarami, ‘yun na lang ang mangyari.”
Now that he’s started acting, it is only normal to think about future projects.
When asked who are the artists he dreams to work with in the future, he replied, “Idol ko talaga yung KathNiel ever since, kasi lahat ata ng movie nila napanuod ko.
“Kahit hindi lang si Kathryn kahit na andun sila pareho, kahit ekstra-ekstra lang.”
Although a potential star, Ricci Rivero clarified that his focus is still on basketball.
