- “Dalawang Mukha Ni Guadalupe” will serve as JakBie’s first project as love team since Barbie ended up with Ken Chan in “Meant To Be.”
After starring in “Meant To Be” where Barbie Forteza’s character chose Ken Chan’s, GMA Network is finally giving real-life sweethearts Barbie and Jak Roberto their own project together.
GMA News was able to talk to the cast during the show’s story conference. “Happy ako kasi dahil finally hindi na lang kami off-cam magkikita. Halos araw araw na kami magkikita at ‘yung mga pinag-uusapan namin sa taping parehas na naming mararanasan at the same time. So masaya ako and I’m very excited for the project,” Barbie shared when asked how excited she was to know that she’s finally doing a project with Jak.
She thinks that the new show is a blessing considering that her last series “Inday Will Always Love You” ended just last month. “I’m very thankful dahil halos hindi na ako nabakante sa trabaho, balik taping ako ulit kaya masaya ang Pasko ko, very merry.”
According to Barbie, taping for “Dalawang Mukha Ni Guadalupe” will start this month. “Start na kami bago mag holiday break.”
Aside from Jak, Barbie’s new drama series’s promising cast includes John Estrada, Carmina Villaroel, Mike Tan, Glydel Mercado, Althea Ablan, and Liezel Lopez.
