Gary V is excited to work with Regine Velasquez on ASAP
Netizens are expressing mixed reactions on the recent network transfer of the Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. Despite the hot issue, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano expressed his happiness and excitement to work with Regine now that she’s a Kapamilya.
“Nag-guest ako sa mga concerts ni Regine, but it’s never been televised. Hindi kasi pwede, eh. Pati major concerts ko, siya naging guest, pero hindi pwede and we have to respect that.”
“Pero now, it’s a different thing. So now, we can experiment, we can record together, and I don’t have to worry because I know, kung magpo-promo ako, at least, kasama ko si Regine, makikita rin siya.”
The singer-actor also said that the network can help Velasquez to be known around the world.
“And I really think that at this point in time, being with ABS-CBN which is seen everywhere in the world, it’s a good vehicle for her para lalo pa siyang makita’t makikilala sa buong mundo, hindi lang sa Filipino, pero in the whole world, in general.”
“I’m happy that she’s with us. And kung ang mga ideas natin eh ganito karami, now, with her in it, parang almost the sky’s the limit. ‘Yung mga numbers niya with the new artists, numbers niya with the seasoned artist, numbers niya on her own, it’s gonna be great, I think it’s gonna be great.”
When Gary V was asked about Regine’s bashers, he said that being bashed is already normal to them, but bashing Velasquez’s son, Nate, is something that’s not normal and shouldn’t be done.
“When I read those kinds of bashing, hindi na normal, eh. There’s something wrong with that person.”
Valenciano promotes his newest album, Awit at Laro, which serves as his grand comeback on the recording scene. It is also part of his celebration on being part of the industry for 35 years.
