Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo are set to star in Cain at Abel. The upcoming show will battle against FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano‘s timeslot.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Dantes noted his own insight in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Dingdong pointed out that Coco Martin‘s show is a league of its own.
“Siguro we all agree na ‘yung show na yun is in a league of its own. And wala naman kami rito para makipag-kumpetensiya kanino man. Naniniwala ako na yung mga manonood, may mga sari-sariling gusto at panlasa. Gagawin namin ang lahat para maibigay sa kanila ‘yun.”
Pressure on TV ratings.
This will be Dantes’s third time to battle against Martin when it comes to ratings. He top-billed two seasons of Alyas Robinhood earlier.
“Sa tingin ko, yung material itself, yung hirap ng material gawin, dun pa lang pressure na sa amin yun. Mas gusto namin na nandoon ang attention kesa sa kung ano mang bagay. Yun naman ang trababo namin, ang gampanan ang role at hindi mag-monitor ng ratings.”
Dingdong and Dennis’s characters and the story are not patterned on the popular Bible story, Cain at Abel.
