- Dingdong Dantes shared his thoughts on Regine Velasquez-Alcasid’s transfer to ABS-CBN.
- He admitted that he’s distressed by the Asia’s Songbird’s move.
Regine Velasquez-Alcasid left GMA Network and transferred to ABS-CBN. Aside from being in the same network, Regine and Dingdong Dantes grew close together as he was a regular in the shows where the Songbird had hosted.
Dingdong admitted being sad.
Dantes admitted that he (they) will miss the Asia’s Songbird in the Kapuso network.
“Well, definitely mami-miss namin siya dito. Mami-miss ko siya, being in GMA for 20 years, ako ha, siyempre kasama ko siya dito and siyempre nakakalungkot. Pero naintindihan ko ang kanyang naging desisyon at sinusuportahan ko siya.”
Marian reacted, too.
In earlier reports, Dingdong’s wife and GMA Network’s Prime Time Queen Marian Rivera reacted to the news. Marian respected Regine’s decision and values her happiness.
“Ang importante diyan, kung saan siya mahalaga, kung saan siya magiging masaya doon siya. Kasi bilang ako, bilang kaibigan ko siya at ninang namin siya eh nirerespeto ko kung ano ang desisyon niya.”
Velasquez-Alcasid sang in the couple’s wedding in 2014.
