Since the Alden Richards show has failed to defeat Coco Martin’s “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” GMA decides to go all out by using their two most popular Kapuso leading men – Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo.
The two Kapuso stars have an upcoming series titled “Cain at Abel.” This is a story about two brothers who have problems with each other.
The said series is said to replace Alden’s “Victor Magtanggol.” This also means that it will go head-to-head against “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
Coco’s series continues to rule over any Kapuso show pitted against it. It is the longest-running show on ABS-CBN Primetime.
Apparently, the Kapuso network won’t bow down easily. It is reported that “Cain and Abel” will be the most expensive production this year.
The same report was told during “Victor Magtanggol’s” time, but it didn’t meet the end of the bargain.
Dingdong and Dennis’ series started taping in Subic. It is already packed with big action scenes involving expensive yachts and speedboats. Dennis also jumped off a bridge into a scary river below.
Moreover, two sultry actresses will play as leading ladies namely Sanya Lopez and Solenn Heussaff.
The show also includes a powerhouse supporting cast such as Eddie Gutierrez, Chanda Romero, Dina Bonnevie, Boy Quizon, Ronnie Henares, Carlo Gonzales, Leandro Baldemor, Pauline Mendoza, Shyr Valdez and more!
GMA is putting all its effort and budget to “Cain at Abel” just to compete evenly with “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
