- Bashing on Regine Velasquez’s Network still did not stop.
- She came to a point she wanted to file legal actions against her bashers.
- The singer said she would understand the level of hate if she is as popular as Marian Rivera.
Regine Velasquez admitted that bashers are to be expected especially on those who get to transfer to its rival Network, but little did she know that it’s even worse than she has expected.
Velasquez has been a Kapuso talent for 20 years and her sudden shift of network has enraged a number of GMA fans.
Even before the Asia’s Songbird signed the two-year contract with ABS-CBN, fans were already bashing her and calling her transfer an act of betrayal.
The singer was able to handle the first few days of bashing, but that’s just the start of it.
In an interview with Tonight with Boy Abunda, Regine admitted that she did not expect this level of hate. In fact, she came to a point that she was thinking of taking legal action against her bashers.
She never thought people will react this way.
She said, “I mean if I was Marian Rivera, I would understand. But I’m just Regine Velasquez.”
Regine was one of GMA’s prized talents. Her transfer to ABS-CBN left a scar on the Kapuso network and its fans.
