Kapuso Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza and Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde has been spotted on dates in Taguig and Makati, a vacation in Bali and a concert in Quezon City.
The 1/2 of AlDub, Alden Richards, recently commented on said dating rumors.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Alden reacted to Maine being romantically linked to Arjo. According to Alden, people should just let them be happy whatever they chose to do.
“Ako, siguro po sa mga taong involved sa buhay po ng ibang tao, siguro mas okay na lang po siguro na just leave them alone, let them be happy kung ano man ang gusto nilang gawin.”
Alden noted that celebrities are just human, too.
“Tao lang po kami. Hindi po kami robot na basta gusto ng karamihan, gagawin po namin.”
Alden remains to support Maine.
Alden declared that he still supports Maine with whatever she does.
“Kung saan po siya masaya, nandoon din po ako. And I’m sure, ganun din po ang suporta niya sa akin. Sana po, ganun na lang. Let them be happy… Okay po kami ni Maine. Gusto ko lang pong ipaalam sa lahat na okay po kami, mas okay po kami ngayon.”
Alden accepts blame.
The actor receives backlash from what happened with his love team with Maine. Although they had a huge following, AlDub didn’t seem to take off like it should have.
“Okay lang po sa akin, tanggap ko naman po yun. It’s always parang fault po ng lalaki yun. Naiintindihan ko naman po yun at hindi ko naman aalisin sa kanila yun. Sanay na rin po ako na for the longest time that Aldub has begun…”
“Nandiyan pa rin naman po ang Aldub at wala naman pong nagsabi na tapos na siya. Tanggap ko na po yun sa mga detractors at hindi ko na po maiaalis yun sa kanila.”
“Sa tagal ko na rin pong nakakatanggap ng hate comments, never naman po akong sumagot. At kahit ano pa po siguro ang sabihin nila, hindi pa rin po ako sasagot. Mas tahimik po ang buhay ko nang ganito.”
