Marian Rivera singing became a meme. She sang Rihanna’s Unfaithful in Party Pilipinas in 2013 with Glaiza de Castro and Rafael Rosell and it only recently went viral. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, however, didn’t like the hate and insulting comments thrown at GMA Network’s Prime Time Queen.

Rivera started her performance trying to search her mind for the lyrics. She, then, fumbled with the lyrics which sounded like:
“Story of my layp, searching for the right fordism for da mii. Histworin my soul, coz it sees a raw but really loves kempani, he’s amore naman, and his amore da love, the reason da sky is blue, the clouds are rolling in, because i’m gone again, sklan be true.”

Regine reacts to meme.
A netizen with @NoItsNotCasper as handle made fun of Marian’s performance and nicknamed her the “Asia’s Quail.” Regine replied, asking them to stop the insults.
“Please guys wag na, inaanak ko yun please at love ko sila so please stop na. Besides Hindi naman talaga singer ang lola nyo she’s an actress and very good one so please stop na.”
The said netizen replied, pointing out that it was just a funny performance.
“Queen natuwa lang po kami sa Unfaithful version ni Miss Marian, not really bashing her though, I admire her as an actress. Peace po, Miss Reg.”
Regine, then, noted that people should just be careful because they don’t know whether or not Marian is getting hurt by the comments.
“Ok but please nomore na kasi hindi natin alam baka naman na hurt na rin sya diba please napag katuwaan na naman ok na yun”
This circulated on the internet following the transfer of Regine. An informal survey conducted on Twitter had netizens voting for Marian to sing GMA Network’s station ID. Marian was pitched as Regine’s replacement.
