“Halik” main stars Yen Santos, Sam Milby, Yam Concepcion and Jericho Rosales are setting social media on fire. In every pages, you’ll see their faces as memes, lots of trending videos on Facebook are reaction videos about their teleserye which primarily tackles infidelity.
While some are hating Yam and Sam while loving the characters of Jericho and Yen, viewers still can’t help but praise these actors for showing them every night the best of Pinoy entertainment.
But “Halik” is not just a social media phenomenon.
Pinoy viewers are really hooked to ABS-CBN Primetime Bida’s “Halik” under the unit of Ruel S. Bayani. Kantar Media (ABS-CBN is a subscriber) and even GMA Network’s ratings provider, NUTAM, these two both agreed that more viewers nationwide are watching the Kapamilya drama than “Pamilya Roces”.
NUTAM – National Urban
ABS-CBN’s “Halik” scored higher than it’s counterpart on GMA Network on the Kapuso bailiwick urban data provider NUTAM. “Halik” scored and average of 12.2% while “Pamilya Roces” only got 8.4%.
Difference: 3.8%
Kantar Media – Urban + Rural Philippines
The gripping scenes in “Halik” drew more viewers as it hit its new all-time high national TV rating of 26.8% last Tuesday (October 23), while “Pamilya Roces” only got 10.8%.
Difference: 16%
