Kris Aquino recently posted a photo of her and Mayor Herbert Bautista with two friends on Instagram. She shared a story of how Herbert would feel when people would call him a “user” while they were still together.
Kris used to be a First Daughter and First Sister during the Cory Aquino and Noynoy Aquino administrations respectively.
Not “the end.”
In Kris’ Instagram post, she revealed that she and Herbert didn’t have a happy ending. Kris pointed out that Herbert knew of three contracts where she’s heavily discouraged to associate herself in political participation and posts.
“Admittedly in 2014 HAPPILY EVER AFTER wasn’t meant for us. BUT it wasn’t THE END. He’s been there whenever i needed a friend, hindi na ko nagulat- nandito sya ngayon… Bakit sya? This is my WHY: nabasa nya mismo my long term endorsement contracts- renewals plus 3 new ones. They all strongly discourage me from divisive political participation & even posts. He wants me to regain my health & he supports my priorities.”
The truth.
Kris revealed that they fought about how Herbert was named as a “user” even though he worked so hard for his position.
“Ako nang magsasabi, when we fought nasumbat ko na: naging 1st daughter & 1st sister na ko- di mo ba na appreciate na ikaw ang minahal & di yung posisyon mo? Binweltahan nya ko: kaya nga ang hirap mong maging ka relasyon kasi pinaghirapan ko ‘to tapos user ang ibabato sa kin?

Getting back together?
According to a message Kris sent to PEP.ph, she showed the post to Herbert before she uploaded it. She acknowledged the question of getting back together with Herbert.
“Everything I posted, I showed him before uploading… We know where we stand in each other’s lives. We understand & trust each other. No need to ask kung nagkabalikan, because if we did – I’d have requested him to do IG & FB Live because he’s the man and the confirmation of our relationship status should come from him…”
