- Mocha Uson resigned as PCOO ASec.
- News reports circulated that she was actually fired.
- Mocha responds to this in a Facebook post.
Former PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson announced her resignation during the budget hearing at the Senate on October 3, Wednesday. She also vowed to level up her attacks against President Rodrigo Duterte‘s critics.
She even threatened to have a fist fight, urging people not to restrain her.
Mocha was fired?
According to a news report, a source allegedly said that Mocha was fired in September.
“Sumobra na. Abusado masyado at arogante… Since she was fired last September, ‘di na siya kinausap ni Presidente…
Mocha responds.
In her own Facebook account, Mocha denied being fired. She insinuated that this is a move to ruin her name. Then, she continued to announce her 2019 Senatorial run.
“Hindi po totoo na ako ay sinibak. Kaya kong patunayan yan. Salamat”
Free from constraints.
During her resignation announcement, Mocha shared that she now has the freedom to target lawmakers. She claimed that as an assistant secretary, she was requested to stop criticizing lawmakers. This was done so she wouldn’t endanger the budget for PCOO.
