- Rayver Cruz gets a lead role on GMA Network.
- He will soon star in the upcoming series “Asawa ko, Karibal Ko.”
- The actor also changed his looks from street casual to formal.
The typical Rayver Cruz we know is someone who only wears casual attire or even rugged shirts. However, his ambiance changed now that he’s a Kapuso.
During the media launch of his new TV series “Asawa Ko Karibal Ko,” everyone was surprised to see the actor in a very formal outfit.
His new image is most certainly brought about by his role in the drama series. Over at ABS-CBN, Rayver mostly did a lot of dancing in ‘ASAP’ and less acting parts. Now that he’s given a big role by GMA, he has to look it.
The actor is said to have transformed into leading man material and can finally make his family proud. Rayver’s late uncle Ricky Belmonte was a renowned leading man in the late sixties and early seventies.
After Belmonte’s time, Rayver’s other uncle Tirso Cruz III stepped into the limelight and was also recognized as one of the most in-demand leading men of his time.
Rayver is grateful to the Kapuso network for giving him a leading role in a TV series.
At this point in my career, marami pa akong kayang patunayan at hindi pa ako dapat mamili ng roles.
A rumor recently spread that some Kapuso actors were insecure of Rayver having been granted a lead role despite being in the fold. The actor stated that the rumors are false.
