Golden Cañedo is the first-ever The Clash champion. She was one of the youngest in the competition and proved her worth and talent. She recently signed an exclusive contract under GMA Artists Center on October 11, Thursday.
Winning The Clash.
The Clash announced Golden as its first-ever winner. When asked what she felt on hearing her name, Golden disclosed how she couldn’t believe it. She noted how she would never forget the exact moment Regine Velasquez called her name.

“Hindi talaga ako makapaniwala talaga. Parang, totoo ba ‘to? Totoo ba ‘to? Kaya iniyak ko nalang tapos ikinanta ko na lang na masaya at hindi ko talaga makakalimutan.”
Future projects.
Golden named the projects she worked and will work on soon. She will portray herself in an upcoming Magpakailanman episode. Caprice Cayetano will be the young Golden for the said episode.
GMA Records has plans of coming up with Golden’s solo album and music video.

More acting?
Golden may go into acting more as she had enjoyed doing so. She noted how acting made her feel and conquer. When we asked if Golden is planning to act more in the future, she said:
“Opo, kasi na-enjoy ko pong… mag-act. Kasi, noon po ‘di ko po talaga na-feel na mag-a-acting ako, na iiyak ako sa harap ng madaming tao. Pero pinush po talaga ako… Kaya nabigay ko po lahat… Ang ganda pala sa feeling na parang sasabak ka sa mga ganyan. Hindi lang kanta, pero acting rin.”
Message to supporters.
Golden’s journey to be The Clash champion wasn’t an easy ride. She battled other Clashers who were much experienced and older than her. Golden wowed netizens with her skills and talent in singing and expressing herself through music. This caused her to gain followers and supporters.
