- Janine Gutierrez responded to her bashers with positive replies and well wishes.
- The bashers continuously slam her character in Victor Magtanggol.
Janine Gutierrez isn’t a stranger to bashers. She has been in the industry for quite sometime and has had her fair share of hate comments. In a recent Twitter activity, Janine responded to her bashers with positive replies.
She currently stars in Victor Magtanggol as a journalist named Gwen.
To better her acting?
A basher demanded Janine to better her acting. They also noted that her role is already annoying as it is.
“Pki ayos acting mo iha nkkairita na nga role mo pati acting waley!”
Janine apologized and agreed with their suggestion. She, then, pointed out that she would be better just for the basher.
“Oh no I’m so sorry 🙁 Okay! Papanoorin ko bukas at aayusin ko pa ang ibang mga eksena. Gagalingan ko para sayo! 🙏🏼”
The rude basher called out Janine for having a sarcastic reply.
“Truth be told pangit acting mo pati role ng journalist acting mo waley! I feel your reply is sarcastic pero thats it!”
Janine pointed out that she was actually sincere and hoped the basher would like the next episodes of the show.
“Actually I was being sincere. Hope you enjoy the coming episodes 🙏🏼”
Annoying character?
Another basher stressed that Janine has an annoying character.
“Based on my timeline, maraming bwisit pa rin sa character mo, ate girl.”
Janine agreed and shared she will make up for it.
“I know!! 😂😂🙈🙈 Sorry guys, bawi ako.”
The basher wasn’t so evil and rude like the earlier one and hoped that creators would make a way for her.
“Your character is badly written so sana nga magawan pa ng paraan.”
Sexist episode.
One basher called out the sexist plot of an episode of Victor Magtanggol where men are used to dig while women are used for entertainment and household chores.
“As the female lead star in the TS, u should note the sexist plot in this ep. Why is Modi just using Men to dig? Even old sickly men. While many able bodied , strong women (like Gwen) are left behind to cook, etc. it’s 2018. 🙄 U shld feel Insulted as a girl #VMStormWALL”
Janine used this to point out that it is actually the metaphor of the episode. She reminded the basher that the episode later showed women empowerment.
“Modi is the antagonist. It is made clear that he is evil, despicable and should NOT be emulated in any way; therefore, by him doing something (such as this display of gender stereotypes) is a tool to emphasize that it is wrong. It’s a metaphor! I’m all for women empowerment❤️”
Janine earlier deactivated her Twitter account due to heavy bashing and hate comments.
