- Don Espanto expressed his dismay and responded to Daryl’s post.
- He ended his comment by stating he is just being a father to his son.
Daryl Ong recently spoke on what he would do if he was the one being accused as gay. Although he didn’t mention any names, this may be his response to Darren Espanto and JK Labajo‘s social media war.
The war started when Darren exposed and felt offended by JK’s alleged tweet, “gayness at its finest.”
Don responds.
Darren’s father, Don Espanto, reacted to Daryl’s lengthy post. He feels that Daryl spoke about a matter which does not concern him for attention.
Monica Garcia (@DFangirl2014) recently revealed the comment to the public.
“I respect your opinion @imdarylong but that doesn’t mean that I agree. I actually treat this comment just like the other nonsensical messages I’ve been seeing since my son posted his sentiments on social media. I hate to believe that you are just meddling on this issue to get some attention just like everyone else but it seems like it. Obviously you know NOTHING about this issue and its history. There’s way more than what you see on social media!”
Falsely accused.
Don pointed out that Darren is retaliating because him being gay is just pure allegations. He continued that Darren felt awful on being falsely accused.
“You should know that by now being in the industry yourself, right? I don’t need to explain further because 4yrs with the same issue involving the same perpetrator is enough! I agree that you shouldn’t hide who you are but what if they are just PURE ALLEGATIONS? Isn’t it irritating and frustrating? Have you ever been accused of something that you didn’t do? How did that make you feel?”
“If you have emotions then you know what I am pertaining to not unless MANHID KA at WALANG MALASAKIT SA ANAK! TRUTH IS DIFFERENT than FALSE ALLEGATIONS! My son is being truthful that’s why he’s retaliaing, breaking his silence and trying to defend himself now that he’s old enough and smart enough to do so. So, MALI pa din? It’s a natural defense mechanism of a human being not unless sanay kang MAGPANGGAP?”
Just being a father.
Don, then, asked Daryl, a grown adult man, not to compare himself to Darren, a seventeen-year-old. He ended his comment by stating he is just being a father to his son.
“And please DO NOT compare yourself to a 17y/o not unless wala ka pinagkatandaan. I’m actually helping you out here because other people may not think that you are not acting your age by commenting on the issue without doing your due diligence. Hope you don’t find this post offensive, nagpapaka tatay lang.”
Daryl has yet to respond to this comment.
