- Maine Mendoza is ready to lose her showbiz career.
- She relates to the same fate the AlDub loveteam is going through.
- For now, the Dubsmash Queen still has a promising career and she’s making the most of it.
Maine Mendoza has had a good run in her showbiz career since she started doing Dubsmash video and eventually landed on television and film.
She then appeared in “Eat Bulaga” in Kalyeserye where her popularity with Alden Richards known as AlDub flourished.
But, just like all good things, AlDub had to end. Maine and Alden had to go separate ways and take on solo projects. Luckily, they are doing pretty well individually.
The Phenomenal Star is aware that someday her popularity will soon fade. Yet, she’s mentally prepared when the time comes.
“Last year, when I took my long break, I was ready to lose everything, I really was,” says Maine in an interview during the Preview Magazine press conference which she is the cover girl for the month of October.
“When I was 15, that’s when I decided that I wanted to be famous. I was crazy for attention, and I thought it would be easy work. But it’s not, it’s really hard work.”
Her showbiz career had many twists and turns but Maine is resilient enough to overcome them all.
Currently, Maine’s popularity is still peaking.
Maine Mendoza has big projects namely the GMA sitcom “My Daddy’s Gurl” and the 2018 MMFF entry “Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles” with Vic Sotto and Coco Martin.
