A netizen, Zain Estorque (@EzrealEstorque), was watching Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho’s Gabi ng Lagim’s Halloween special. He seemed to see a very familiar face and posted a tweet about it which immediately went viral as it involved GMA Network’s Phenomenal Star, Maine Mendoza.

Estorque posted a photo of a bloodied woman with blackened face carrying a bundled baby. The said woman, however, looked like Maine and so was tagged in the tweet.

Maine acknowledged that a lot of people thought that the character in Gabi ng Lagim was really her.
“In fairness ang daming paniwalain.. hindi po ako yan, kamukha lang! Kasi naman in demand talaga yung beauty namin pag Halloween pero mas fashiown ako sakanya n0h!”
