- Jason Abalos was a homophobe in the past.
- He shared how the LGBT+ Community embraced him when he joined showbiz.
Jason Abalos will be playing a transgender woman in Asawa Ko Karibal Ko. He shared that it was a challenging role for him as it was his first time to play such a part.
Jason admitted that he was homophobic in the past.
Homophobic.
During an interview with Arniel Serrato of PEP.ph, Jason revealed that he grew up in the province with conservative ways.
He avoided gays as much as he could. When he arrived in Manila, he learned to love and accept the LGBT+ Community.
Accepting the LGBT+ Community.
Jason now understands and accepts the sexual orientation of other people.
So ako, simula lang.
Asawa Ko Karibal Ko will air on October 22, Monday.
