- “Ika-5 Na Utos” will move to the second time slot of GMA Afternoon Prime.
- The series will give way to the series “Karibal Ko Asawa Ko.”
- One more reason is it’s been struggling to compete with “It’s Showtime.”
“Ika-5 Na Utos” initially kicked off at the first spot of GMA Afternoon Prime hoping that the show will have the same result as its predecessor “Ika-6 Na Utos”.
Apparently, it may have resulted otherwise. Starting on October 23, “Ika-5 Na Utos” will air in the second slot of GMA Afternoon Prime.
The first spot will be taken over by a new series titled “Karibal Ko Asawa Ko” starring Rayver Cruz.
This might be a good strategy for the Kapuso Network since “Ika-5 Na Utos” has not been performing well against ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime.”
Since its pilot episode, the show’s rating has been playing about five to six percent below the rival show.
GMA also announced that there will be no more Saturday episodes for the series since it can barely hit the ten percent mark.
With the new timeslot, the series will now go head-to-head with the series “Kadenang Ginto” starring Beauty Gonzalez, Dimples Romana, Adrian Alandy, and Albert Martinez.
Let’s see how the “Ika-5 Na Utos” will fare with the new competition.
